Overview of Project
ES2 continues to expand upon its existing relationship with the Choctaw Nation and Choctaw Casino & Resort - Durant, being tasked with working on the Grand Tower Amenity refresh project. The newly remodeled tower was taken down to the studs and overhauled to make guest rooms feel more modern and luxurious, replacing 20 year old equipment with more efficient mechanical solutions controlled and balanced by ES2. The Grand Tower features 18 suites and 329 rooms featuring spacious showers, modern furnishings, and eye-catching artwork from Choctaw artists. ES2 furnished Automated Logic BAS systems, and TAB services for the central systems of the Grand Tower, and furnished all the room thermostats which act as wireless hubs connecting the central guest management system to the door locks and room master lighting relays.
ES2 built upon its relationship with Honeywell, who provided the guestroom IoT hub for the Grand Tower, expanding their existing system in the Sky and Spa Towers at the Choctaw Resort. The INNCOM e7 Thermostat was the energy management system (EMS) selected, acting as an IoT hub to connect and manage lighting and electronic locks. Utilizing INNCOM’s Deep Mesh Network, the sites are able to reduce the overall costs and effort of installing and maintaining a robust, property-wide device network.
All of the Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems (DOAS), rooms, and back-of-house Fan Coil Units (FCU), were replaced along with domestic hot water and mechanical heating systems. These systems were pulled into the existing Automated Logic WebCTRL system with a fresh graphic interface and updated sequence of operations to maximize efficient operations. Due to the unique nature of this project being completed in phases over 15 months, there was a challenge in maintaining 100% uptime in operations throughout the remaining site, but ES2's project team delivered.
