OUR SERVICES

Building Automation Systems

Controls are one of the most sophisticated aspects of an HVAC system. Through remote diagnostics, ES2 can analyze trends, identify issues, determine root causes, and recommend solutions that improve system performance and support energy management strategies.

Building Automation Systems (BAS) can integrate and control chillers, boilers, air handling units, rooftop units, fan coil units, heat pumps, VAV boxes, energy management systems, access control, security, plumbing and water monitoring, and fire alarm systems.

Test Adjust and Balance

Test Adjust and Balance, or TAB, is part of the commercial HVAC construction process in which technicians perform tests and take air and hydronic measurements which allows them to adjust systems flows as required to achieve optimum performance of the building environmental equipment. The TAB technician will submit a written report which summarizes the testing and balancing and note any deficiencies found. Fixing issues identified in TAB reports can mean the difference between a well-cooled and heated building that is energy efficient and a building that is consistently out of balance and compromises occupant comfort.ox to start editing the content and make sure to add any relevant details or information that you want to share with your visitors.

Energy Solutions

We conduct in-depth energy audits and assessments to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for cost savings. Our team provides tailored recommendations and supports clients in implementing high-impact energy-saving measures.

We provide end-to-end expertise in delivering energy efficiency projects, ensuring smooth integration, optimized performance, and measurable results. From initial assessment and strategy development to financing, construction oversight, and final commissioning, our team ensures every phase is executed with precision and accountability.

Commissioning

Hiring a commissioning agent for your new build project can ensure the construction process goes smoothly, reduce the number of change orders needed, lower operational costs, and reduce energy costs.

Older buildings that were not commissioned during the construction process can be retro-commissioned. Retro-commissioning will provide a systematic evaluation of your building to see where improvements can be made to the efficiency of the building.

Design Build

ES2’s Professional Engineers provide leadership and coordination for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems from initial design through final occupancy. Serving as the terminal contractor, ES2 delivers a unified approach that streamlines communication, improves collaboration, and enhances project delivery for owners, general contractors, operators, and end-users.

We ensure quality control, optimize system performance, and create a seamless transition from design to operation. This all-in-one approach improves MEP construction schedules, reduces project complexity, lowers overall costs, and provides the advantage of a single team guiding the project from concept through completion.

CLASS NAME
DURATION
LENGTH
DESCRIPTION
WebCTRL Tools
3 Days
Prerequisites: WebCTRL Essentials, Networking I. This course includes many of the same skills and techniques taught in the Field Technician: I course, such as installing, basic commissioning, and troubleshooting a WebCTRL system. Students learn to apply these skills, as well as edit a WebCTRL system utilizing EIKON, SiteBuilder, ViewBuilder, and WebCTRL. This course provides a complete day of real life troubleshooting in a WebCTRL system. Students should not be discouraged by not fully completing the troubleshooting day as all errors will be discussed by the end of the course.
EIKON: I
2 Days
This course teaches the basics of EIKON programming. Students identify the different types of microblocks, read a sequence of operation and translate it to a control program, simulate the program to find errors, and define microblock properties.
Networking: I
2 Days
This course covers setup and troubleshooting techniques affiliated with basic Automated Logic networks. Students build source trees, define and identify the fundamentals of IP, ARC156 and MS/TP networks, and how these concepts allow devices to communicate. Students also learn the basics of Wireshark captures, clippings and BACnet Discovery and how to properly set up and troubleshoot basic Automated Logic networks, including the use of Wireshark captures to capture IP traffic at the server, IP and ARC1 56 traffic at devices.
ViewBuilder
2 Days
This course introduces Automated Logic supplied area and equipment graphics. A complete ViewBuilder overview is covered, as well as its tools, controls, images and available symbols. Custom topics include the use of conditional expressions and programming floorplans. The class prepares students to successfully develop basic ViewBuilder graphics and provide common editing techniques to existing equipment and area graphics.
WebCTRL Essentials
2 Days
This course is a great place to start your WebCTRL journey! If you have little or no experience with the Automated Logic WebCTRL system or you’ve never attended an Automated Logic Training course, this course is for you. Students will work with the WebCTRL user interface, create operators and privileges, develop schedules, troubleshoot with alarms and trends, and document with WebCTRL’s report features. Higher-end topics are also included.
