ES2's owners have long been proponents of sustainable energy management initiatives.

ES2 is led by Bill Kinser, a licensed P.E. with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. Bill has been in the building automation and commissioning business since 1990. He is a NEBB Certified Professional in four disciplines – Testing Adjusting and Balancing; Whole Building Technical Commissioning; Sound Measurement, and Vibration Measurement.

Michael Halcomb has been in the HVAC industry since 1995. He is a NEBB Certified Professional in Whole Building Systems Technical Commissioning and Testing Adjusting and Balancing. He holds a degree in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology from the Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology.

Justin Stonehocker carries multiple certifications as a BAS Controls Engineer/Technician under several DDC platforms. He received his BA from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1997, as well as his Executive MBA in Energy from the University of Oklahoma in 2026.
