We would like you to meet our employee, Blake Isaacson. Blake is a BAS Project Manager in our Tulsa branch, and Blake has worked for ES2 for two years. Blake has been married for 17 years and has a 12 year old son as well as three Dachshunds.

Are you originally from Oklahoma?

I am not originally from Oklahoma. My family and I moved to Verdigris in 2021 from Washington State.

Tell me what your experience working with ES2 has been like?

I have enjoyed my time so far with the company. The people from top to bottom make this place enjoyable, and it's nice to be surrounded by extreme talent. Even some of our more junior guys have a skill set that I would put up against any of our competitors. It really speaks to the culture that has been cultivated at ES2.

What certifications, training, or degrees do you have?

Aside from the ALC certifications, I am a Master Operator and Programmer for Siemens control systems, certified in Allerton controls and have experience in legacy systems such as POWERS, Landis & Gyr, System 600. I have an Associate's in Science from Columbia College as well as an Associate's in Firearms Technology from Sonoran Desert Institute.

Describe a typical day at work for you?

Currently, I am balancing my time between Project Management and Tech work, so my day starts with answering customer emails and calls, following up with my team at the various job sites, and dealing with whatever issues that present themselves. After the dust settles, I provide support to any customers or technicians that need it.

What is your favorite aspect of your job?

One of my favorite aspects of the job is the constant need to problem solve. I love walking into a customer site on a service call, being presented with the issue, and figuring out the best possible way to make a fix.

Do you have any hobbies outside of work?

I am a big Star Wars nerd, and a Gunsmith, and I love board games. I run a couple of 3D printers and a Laser in my shop. I'm currently building a full-size droid from Star Wars, as well as making some changes to some 3D-printed costumes for my son for Halloween.

Are you a sports fan?

Growing up in Michigan, I bleed Maize and Blue. I look forward to watching Michigan Football every year and absolutely LOVE when the Wolverines play the Buckeyes. It's even better when the Wolverines win.
